A burst water main can sometimes go unnoticed for days if not weeks as the leaking water doesn't always show on the surface, for example wet pools appearing in your lawn or garden.

A water leak will often come to our attention because there is a changed in water pressure or your receive a high water bill. These are signs that there is something going on underground.

Water main leaks can occur for a variety of reasons, primarily leaks are caused from high-velocity water wearing down the internal walls of your pipes, eventually weakening and forming pin holes allowing high pressure water to burst out.
